I'm running with an HP Probook S-Series core i3 currently. Also has windows 8 because I'm boss! haha Anyway I'm buying a new computer in a few weeks.

Thats pretty nice..! I haven't got the windows 8 since I find it a bit annoying.

Actually, I really like windows 8. I got a discount on it, paid like 20$ when it was first released. It has a lot of really neat features and I love my new home screen.

I'm getting a new computer soon myself Mr. Claus. I have about a 1500 budget, however i've seen some pcs that i really like. Debating on the mac

Depends what you do all day long on it.. Macs are more for workloads, Pc's were never really designed to have workloads put on them.. "Personal Computers". lol

Anyway. You would need a strong PC to do those things. I game, not WoW, however mines already going out. I don't even do most of the other stuff you do..

A Mac, in all honesty, is the work computer. You would need a computer that has lifetime..

However, always get warrentee's as long as possible. Always stay on the safe side.

Right now, I'm using an HP dv6 laptop with an i7 processor and 6GB of RAM. It used to be pretty great when I got it 3 years ago, but the thing is getting old, and it has a really bad ventilation system, so it overheats quickly if I don't have the fan on it.
