Mocking a member or making fun of someone's tastes/opinions/thoughts
on things or calling them idiots/stupid/dumb...

I've been on such forums and I don't like it. And members don't stay
at boards like these.

2. Won't stop breaking forum rules

3. Going beyond our rules, finding loop holes and using it against us.

4. Challenging forum staff.

5. Belittling users.

I will ban someone if they say anything that are harmful to others. Sometime I will give them some warning.

Spamming the board, breaking any clear rules and harassing other members would be good reasons to ban someone.

A lot of it for me has to do with intention.
People that shows clearly malice and a desire to keep the members and staff miserable with no real intention to interact in a respectful manner.
People that plagiarize content, constantly challenge the staff and overall shows a very negative consequences if allowed to continue. I'm all to give people warning and chances if I see some desire to be in the community for some people are just destructive trolls that don't care and just want to mess your hard work and cause misery around for their own entertainment.

I have had playful members, that can be considered 'troll' sometimes but they restrain themselves and overall care for the community and are up to grow with us.
