Next semester that will focus on graphic designing.. It uses GIMP, and i've kinda already read though alot of them and it seems that it's the basics..

However they don't explain alot of things very well, so, my question is, when I get to the class next semester (cause they locked it so I can't see anything) would anyone mind helping me? And no, not with doing my homework, but explaining.

Well maybe i can. Next semester starts in two weeks for me and i start a similar class not sure what programs we will be using though. If we use gimp and i understand it i might be able to help lol

Look up some tutorials online maybe it'll help you do what they're asking you to

I know nothing about Gimp, never used it, however what nolvorite said rings true, check out some online tutorials they are awesome and a lot are detailed. They have some for all types of programs.
