So out of both which would you rather own and why? I personally would find it difficult to keep up with a blog everyday so I definitely love forums more. I also think you can meet new friends on a forum easier than a blog, and I find forums to be more interesting. Owning a community based around something you love or general topics to me feels more rewarding, however I do have a blog based around Teen Titans but I just don't find it easy to post something new everyday. :\

I've had a blog since around 2002 and it's always been cool. I have several now. I've also run a forum for many years. I like forums more because there is more oppurtunity for people to participate and a variety of topics.

I would always rather own a forum as I think they are easier to run and start of and it is also better as you know how successful it actually is

Both are good in their own respective ways. I have owned both over the years. My blogs have never seemed to take off but one of my forums I created years ago did take off. If the topic is less-known I usually make a blog then once that gets enough traffic I will add a forum as well.

A blog, why: less drama/fighting between members and etc...to deal
with. And: no asskissing/asslicking staff at a blog. |

I'd rather own a forum, it's nice having a community and a secure discussion area instead of having guests comment without registering.

I would rather own a forum than a blog myself, I prefer to have somewhere that I can talk about what I enjoy but also have somewhere so others can also enjoy and talk about what they enjoy. Having a blog you do all the creating and then people reply it never really gives you the flexibility to allow others to create posts.

A blog, not a forum because there's less drama...

Forums, just because I like the interaction that goes on between people.

I have owned both and I like them for different reasons, but if I had to choose I'd pick up the forum because I enjoy to interact with people and very often the different forums areas allow me to rant just as I would in my blog and yet reach more people quickly.
